Grape Seed May Be a Cancer Fighter
(HealthDay News, 10/18/06)

Rajesh Agarwal of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, and team, found that grape seed extract significantly reduced the size of colorectal tumors in lab rats. The researchers report that the extract increases the availability of a protein (Cip1/p21) in tumors, thereby stopping the cell cycle and causing cellular self-destruction.
