Grape Juice Good for Aging Brain
(HealthDayNews, 3/3/06)

With the partial funding of Welch Food Inc., James Joseph of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, and team, tested both cognitive and neuro-motor skills of older rats. The researchers report that rats given concord grape juice demonstrated significant improvements in both mental and physical performance. While very preliminary, these findings suggest that consuming natural antioxidant-rich substances, like grape juice, may slow the degeneration associated with aging.
