Omega-3s May Bring On Better Mood
(HealthDayNews, 3/4/06)
According to a study conducted by Sarah Conklin and
colleagues at the University of Pittsburgh, healthy adults
with higher blood levels of omega-3 fatty acids tend to be
more agreeable than those with lower levels, who are likelier
to be more impulsive, negative and depressed. These findings
suggest that omega-3s may benefit individuals by boosting
their mood and modulating their behavior.
