Dr. Kirk Pinto of Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, says that in the majority of cases, bedwetting can be prevented through simple dietary changes. Pinto explains that children with this problem should avoid bladder-irritating foods—like caffeine, carbonation, citrus and foods containing red dye.
