Health Tip:
Heart Attack Warning Signs
(HealthDayNews, 2/21/05)
According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute,
people experiencing heart attack symptoms often wait before
taking action; thereby increasing the likelihood of death or
permanent heart damage. Severe chest pains do not always
accompany a heart attack. Be aware that warning signs may
include mild discomfort in the chest or other upper body
areas, such as the arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach, as well
as shortness of breath; cold sweats; nausea and/or
lightheadedness. |
