Report:
Prozac Found in Britain's Drinking Water
(London, Reuters, 8/8/04)
Britain’s Environment Agency reported the presence of the
anti-depressant, Prozac, in the drinking water supply. Some
experts reacted by claiming that the drug is just a residue
from treated sewage water so diluted that it poses no risk,
but environmentalists want a full investigation and charge
"mass medication.”
