Hard Water May Protect Against Heart Attacks

Finnish researchers examined data for heart attack and fatalities in 19,000 men and found that in regions of Finland where there was a higher concentration of certain minerals, including fluoride, in the drinking water, there was a reduced risk of heart attack and cardiac disease. But high levels of copper and iron in the water correlated with increased heart attack risk.
