Calcium May Reduce Risk of Colon Cancer
(Yahoo!News, 3/20/03)
When Marji McCullough and team, analyzed the data from more
than 126,000 adults who were already participating in an
American Cancer Society study of cancer prevention and
nutrition, the researchers found that taking calcium
supplements reduced the risk of developing colorectal cancer
by 30%. These findings confirm previous studies that have
shown that calcium decreases the risk of developing
