Pesticides Linked with Prostate Cancer in Farmers
 (Washington, Reuters Health, 5/1/03)

US government researchers from the National Cancer Institure (NCI), the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) studied 55,332 agricultural workers in Iowa and North Carolina. The investigators found that these workers, who are routinely exposed to pesticides, are 14% more likely to develop prostate cancer than the general public.
