Older adults who ingested more Vitamin E had less mental decline during a 3-year study conducted by a research team headed by Dr. Martha Clare Morris of Rush-Presbyterian-St Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. The results of this evaluation of more than 2,800 older Americans suggest that Vitamin E, an antioxidant, may protect against free radical damage to the brain.
