Vitamin E Fights Arthritis-Like Damage in Mice

Researchers at the Centre Hospitalo-Universitaire Xavier Bichat in Paris found that mice with arthritis-like inflammation suffer less joint damage if they are given Vitamin E. The researchers attribute this protective effect to Vitamin E's ability to neutralize "reactive oxygen species," a destructive form of oxygen.
