Dr. James C. Fang of Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and fellow researchers report that transplant patients who took daily doses of Vitamins E and C after their surgery developed less plaque on the walls of their arteries. These findings add to the mounting evidence that antioxidant vitamins can fight arteriosclerosis.
