Carotenoids Cut Women's Cataract Risk

Dr. Allen C Taylor of Tufts University and colleagues found
that women who took vitamin C supplements and/or consumed
fruits and vegetables containing carotenoids (red, yellow and
orange pigments that the body converts to Vitamin A) had a
lower risk of developing cataracts. |
