Sleep-Deprived Women Face Greater Heart Risk

When Dr. Najib Ayas of Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and colleagues analyzed the records of 71,617 participants in a ten-year study, the researchers found that women who reported routinely sleeping fewer than 6 or more than 9 hours a night were more likely to have heart attacks.
