Psychological Stress May Hasten Heart Deaths
(New York, Reuters Health, 3/25/02)

The results of a 5-year study by Dr. David Scheps, a cardiologist at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and colleagues show that cardiac patients who were experiencing psychological stress had a death rate triple that of the other patients in the group.
