(London, Reuters Health, 8/6/02)
According to Dr. Gary Small of the Center on Aging at the
University of California, Los Angeles, keeping mentally active
helps offset the effects of aging on the brain. Dr. Small also
sees a benefit to the brain from physical exercise, stress
reduction and a healthy diet that is rich in Omega-3 fatty
acids and antioxidants.
