Many with Allergy, Asthma Use Alternative Therapy

When Dr. Paul D. Blanc and his colleagues at the University of California, San Francisco, surveyed adults who had asthma and/or seasonal allergies, the researchers found that almost half had treated this condition with some form of alternative therapy during the past year. This trend toward increased use of unorthodox treatments has been documented in the general population as well.
