Veggies Do a Tummy Good as Cancer Fighters

When Dr. Shoichiro Tsugane of the National Cancer Center
Research Institute East in Kashiwa, Japan, and team, analyzed
the responses to questionnaires that they had used to track
40,000 study participants from 1990 to 2000, the researchers
found that the people who ate fruits and vegetables at least
one day a week had a significantly lower risk of developing
stomach cancer than their peers. These study results confirm
the apparent protective effect of fruits and vegetables
against malignancies |
