Bedtimes May Help Girls Cope with Stress

Dr. Jeanne Brooks Gunn of Columbia University and Vincent
F. Capaldi II, Dr. Laura Stroud and Dr. Raymond Niaura of
Brown Medical School studied the reactions of 3rd-grade girls
who participated in 3 stressful tasks. Girls with bedtimes
earlier than 8 PM were better able to cope, suggesting that
parents should make sure their children get adequate rest. |
