Choose Spring Over Foam to Keep Mattress Mite-Free

When Dr. Morton A. Schel of the University of California, Berkley, and his colleagues checked the mattresses in the homes of 152 children in Norway, the researchers found that foam pads were more likely to be contaminated with the feces of microscopic dust mites than were spring mattresses.
