Chemical
Sensitivity Tied to Anxiety, Depression
(NY, Reuters-Health, 10/23/02)
Dr. Elise Caccappolo-van Vliet of UMDNJ - Robert Wood
Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, NJ and colleagues,
studied patients suffering from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity
(MCS). Their findings link MCS with anxiety and depression;
however, they are inconclusive as to whether the anxiety
causes the symptoms or is a consequence of the syndrome. |
