Calcium May Increase Levels of "Good" Cholesterol

Dr. Ian Reid at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and team had a group of postmenopausal women take 1 gram of calcium citrate daily for a year and another group take a placebo. They found that HDL (good cholesterol) levels increased for the women taking the calcium.
