Bacteria Virus Exposure Linked to Heart Disease

German scientists at the University Clinic, Mainz have confirmed a link between infectious agents and the development of artherosclerosis. They found that heart patients with greater exposure to bacteria and viruses have more severe clogging of the arteries and a poorer prognosis than those with exposure to fewer pathogens.
