Studied for Use in Cigarette Filters
(Boston, Reuters Health, 2/19/02)
Dr. Theodore Hersh, president of Thione International Inc
and professor at Emory University in Atlanta, and colleagues
exposed human cells to tobacco smoke that had passed through
an antioxidant-treated filter. Their results showed that the
cells exposed to the antioxidant complex survived longer than
those exposed to untreated smoke |
