Anger Tears
Your Heart Apart
(HealthScoutNews, 11/19/02)
Scientists tracked 774 white males for 3 years, assessing
their hostility levels and measuring such variables as
education, blood pressure, lipids, weight, alcohol consumption
and smoking. The results of the study, as reported in the
November issue of Health Psychology, show that a high
hostility level is more predictive of heart disease than the
traditional risk factors. |
