Anger May Boost Cholesterol in Out-of-Shape Women
(New York, Reuters Health, 3/20/02)

Dr. Aron Wolfe Siegman and colleagues at the University of Maryland in Baltimore reported that middle-aged women who were relatively unfit and exhibited frequent outbursts of anger tended to have higher cholesterol and LDLs than their peers who were either calmer and/or physically fit. This study raises the possibility that physical fitness may offset the detrimental effects of a volatile personality.
